Your tasks and your projects, organized your way

The personal kanban board that turns your intentions into actions. Create your boards, drag your cards from "To do" to "Done", set priorities and due dates, track your progress at a glance.

What you can do

Four views, one tool

The same task list, seen from four angles. You switch from one view to another without re-entering anything. What changes is the question you are asking.

Kanban view

Where does each thing stand?

To do, In progress and Done columns, with cards you move by drag and drop. Progress reads itself: a task that has not moved for three weeks stands out immediately.

Table view

What to deal with first?

The same tasks as a list, sortable and filterable by priority, due date, folder or progress.

Calendar view

What falls due this week?

Your dated tasks are placed on a schedule. Due dates become days in a week again.

Gantt view

Does the whole thing fit in the time available?

Tasks spread out as bars on a calendar, with their resources. The view you need when a series of tasks becomes a project and the schedule has to be checked.

In detail

One card, everything you need to know

A task is more than a title. Each card carries the context needed to decide what to do, and when.

Priority, due date, progress

Set a priority and a date. Any delay is flagged visually as soon as it appears. The progress percentage tells a task just started from a task almost finished.

Resources, description, color

Attach resources, write a rich description, give the card a color. Your visual cues, chosen by you.

Folders, filters, search

Organize your boards into personal folders, filter on what matters, find any task by typing three letters.

Excel and PDF exports

Export your tasks to a spreadsheet to rework them, or to PDF to pass on and archive them. Your data stays yours.

On all your screens

Application installable on computer and phone, interface adapted to mobile, display themes of your choice.

Forty languages

The interface switches to each person's language. Useful for users on the move as well as for multi-site organizations.

Personal

Your tasks concern you alone

QALITEL kanban is a personal tool: each person sees only their own tasks and their own boards.

No team board where everyone watches everyone else's progress, no notification publicly pointing out what is overdue. What you write down, you alone read.

QALITEL kanban comes in two forms: a standalone application available online, and a module built into the software of the QALITEL range. The same tool, in the same place as your quality system if you use one.

Why QALITEL kanban

Simple, visual, sovereign

Three commitments, held from end to end.

01

Simple

You create a card, you move it. Nothing to set up before starting, no method to adopt, no training to follow. The tool fades behind the tasks.

02

Visual

Kanban was designed so that a whole workshop could understand its state by looking up. The same principle applied to your days: what is blocked shows, what is dragging shows, what is moving shows.

03

Sovereign

Encrypted data, hosted in France, GDPR compliant. Can run in an environment isolated from the network. Independent French publisher since 1993.

Definition

What is a kanban board?

A kanban board is a visual representation of the work to be done. Each task becomes a card, and each card sits in a column matching its stage of progress, most often To do, In progress and Done. Moving a task forward simply means moving its card to the next column.

The method comes from the Toyota workshops, where labels signaled that a station needed restocking. The word kanban means a label or a signboard in Japanese. Applied to office work and personal organization, it brings the same thing: understanding the state of the whole at a glance, and spotting what is stalling.

It is also called a task board or a visual to-do list. The kanban is today one of the most widely used tools for task management and project management, from the individual organizing their week to the team tracking a construction project.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about QALITEL kanban

What is the difference between a kanban board and a simple to-do list?

A to-do list says what is left to do. A kanban board also says where each thing stands. That is the difference between a list where everything sits at the same level, and a board where you tell apart at once what has not started, what is under way and what is finished. With QALITEL kanban, you have both: the kanban view and the table view carry the same tasks.

Do I have to install any software?

No. QALITEL kanban runs in the browser, with no installation. You can still install it as an application on your computer or your phone if you prefer to open it from an icon, and the interface is adapted to mobile screens.

Are my tasks visible to other people?

No. QALITEL kanban is a personal task manager: each user sees only their own tasks and their own boards.

Can I work without an internet connection?

Yes. QALITEL kanban can work offline, including in an environment isolated from the network. This is a common requirement in sensitive organizations, and it is useful to everyone on a train or a plane.

Where is my data hosted?

In France, encrypted, in compliance with the GDPR. QALITEL kanban is published by ScoQi, an independent French publisher of quality management software since 1993.

Kanban, calendar or Gantt: which to choose?

It depends on the question you are asking. The kanban answers the question of where each thing stands. The calendar answers the question of what falls due this week. The Gantt answers the question of whether the whole fits in the time available, with the resources at hand. As the four views carry the same tasks, you do not have to choose once and for all.

Can tasks be taken out of the software?

Yes, by Excel export to rework them in a spreadsheet, or by PDF export to pass on and archive them.

QALITEL kanban is part of the QALITEL range, published by ScoQi since 1993: document management, non-conformities, audits, action plans, metrology, mail management and online flowcharts.

Start with a single card

Create your first board, put on it what you have in mind, and move the first card. The rest follows on its own.
